SS brake lines vs quebec

for those who are running stainless brakes lines. how do they hold upto winter? do you recommend coated or should the bare ones be ok?

im looking at buying some goodridge, but i dont want them to corrode and fall apart after a winter.

I just got mine from Seb. They are coated and I really recommend them.

By the way, they're cheap. 150 $

I have a set of Goodridge on my RS, 1 year old now. They are full of dirt, but no sign of corrosion after the winter.

I also have Goodrich ss-lines (about 3 years now). Like Swatch, they're fine except for being dirty.

SS lines from COBB Tuning, they have a clear vinyl coating to protect them.

Take the coating...

If not, you'll have bad surprises...

The line will remain ok, but the surrounding area where the line will touch will get eaten but the braiding I already had to replace a motorcycle front fender because the line ate thru it :-S

with coating they are 130$ ameican, with out they are 89$, so i might go with the non coated.
